BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Recreational fires can resume in Bellingham.
The City of Bellingham is lifting the burn ban because of recent improvements in fuel moisture levels.
Plus, more rainfall is in the forecast this weekend.
To be considered a legal recreational fire, the fire fuel must be seasoned firewood or charcoal only.
Burning of garbage, yard debris or construction lumber is prohibited within city limits.
