BELLINGHAM, WASH. – The City of Subdued Excitement makes a couple more “best-of” lists.
Travel site Expedia uses customer reviews to come up with a list of the best vacation destinations in North America.
Bellingham came in at 19.
People can experience several of the top cities when they come this corner of the continent: Victoria ranks 4th, Whistler is 13th, Vancouver is 25th and Seattle is 34th on the list.
Wailea, Hawaii tops the list.
Bellingham was also named one of the top 13 Safest Cities for bike riders by Bicycling magazine.
Seattle was on that list as well.
