BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham man faces several charges after prosecutors say he fired shots at a party when his girlfriend refused to leave.
26-year-old Adrian Martinez Medina and his girlfriend live in an apartment in a complex in the 4000 block of Northwest Avenue.
Court records state that she was at a party in a different apartment early on March 27 when Martinez Medina arrived and insisted she leave.
She refused and witnesses say Martinez Medina became angry, pulled a gun and fired four shots toward other people at the party.
Officers arrested him on charges of assault, burglary and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Martinez Medina pleaded guilty in a drive-by shooting in 2016.
