SUMAS, Wash. – A Bellingham man is in custody for allegedly assaulting a man he found in bed with his ex-girlfriend last month.
Sumas Police officers were called to the Sumas Mountain Lodge on November 4th after a 9-1-1 call disconnected from that location.
A woman told officers that she was at the lodge with another man to celebrate her birthday when 21 year old Kristopher Rusk barged into their room.
She said Rusk punched the other man in the face and put him in a headlock.
He hit him several more times before leaving the scene.
Rusk faces felony assault and domestic violence charges.
