FERNDALE, Wash. – A registered sex offender was arrested after admitting to producing and distributing child pornography.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s spokesperson Deb Slater said that deputies were called to a home in Ferndale Saturday night, June 24th.
Witnesses told deputies that they believed the suspect was recording sexually explicit content involving a minor and had planned on selling it.
The suspect, a 20-year-old man from Bellingham, admitted that he had sent explicit material to a minor and had sex with them.
He was arrested and remains at the Whatcom County Jail on $30,000 bond.
