BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Police have arrested a Bellingham man for secretly recording himself and a woman he was dating having sex.
Lt. Don Almer says the woman was at the home of David John Schneider, whom she had been dating for about 5 months, when she saw video on a computer of her and Schneider being intimate.
He says she had no knowledge that the videos had been made.
She broke up with Schneider and went to police.
Officers obtained a search warrant for the computer and served it at the home in the 3100 block of Eldridge Avenue but couldn’t find the computer.
Almer says the woman showed officers enough other evidence for them to arrest Schneider for First Degree Voyeurism.
Almer says the case doesn’t appear to be connected to other recent acts of voyeurism near Western Washington University.
