BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man faces serious charges after a car crash early Sunday morning.
The State Patrol said Sean Gilmore was intoxicated when he missed a turn on 32nd Street and Old Lake Samish Road. His car slid off the road, hitting a tree.
His passenger, Andrew Martin, was hurt and taken to PeaceHealth Saint Joseph Medical Center.
Gilmore was injured, but taken to the Whatcom County Jail under investigation for felony eluding and vehicular assault.
