BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man is facing hate crime charges after police say he threatened to kill his roommate on Sunday.
Marcel Siftsoff was drinking, according to police, when he became angry and grabbed a knife.
Investigators say, at one point, Siftsoff started hitting and kicking a door as he shouted out racial and homosexual slurs.
He ended up getting away from police initially, but they arrested him later when he returned to the Superior Street home in the Roosevelt neighborhood.
Nobody was hurt.
