BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham man faces several charges for repeatedly threatening his partner and trying to drown her cat.
The woman says in a petition requesting a protection order that 27-year-old Kapier Robinson was verbally abusive to her and her pet and often damaged her belongings.
She says he also physically abused the cat.
She left their apartment with the cat and called 9-1-1 on October 10th when he said he was going to make good on the drowning threat.
Officers arrived and took him into custody after she showed them threatening texts messages on her phone.
