BELINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man accused of beating four women in 2015 made a plea deal for reduced counts in Whatcom Superior Court Friday Morning.
32-year-old Robert McGlothern pleaded guilty to multiple counts of 2nd degree attempted manslaughter and assault after a two and a half year negotiation.
As part of the deal, prosecutors are seeking a 16 year prison sentence.
McGlothern has a long history of assaulting multiple women, including his then-pregnant sister.
