BELLINGHAM, Wash – A Bellingham man is going to prison for beating his girlfriend at a Samish Way motel in April.
58 year old Terry Haskett made a plea deal and will serve 21 months.
The Belligham Herald reports prosecutors as saying the attack left Haskett’s girlfriend, 37 year old Stephanie Sparks, quadriplegic.
Sparks told police Haskett got mad at her when they didn’t have drugs and then attacked her with a knife, causing injury to her neck.
