BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham man was hospitalized and is facing charges after troopers say he hit an oncoming semi Wednesday afternoon near the Deming Logging Show grounds.

The State Patrol says Mark Isaacson was driving his truck north on Cedarville Road when he crossed the center line and hit a logging truck driven by Garry Alley of Acme.

Isaacson’s truck was totalled and he was taken to PeaceHealth Saint Joseph Medical Center, while Alley was not hurt.

Troopers say Isaacson faces multiple charges, including driving with a suspended license, but don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
