BELLINGHAM,Wash.- A Bellingham man is in jail after police said he gave his girlfriend a black eye.
Early Thursday morning police got a call from a concerned family member who reported the woman had been assaulted and the couple had a small child with them.
According to Lt. Danette Beckly tactical officers and negotiators responded in the 2300 block of Queen and the couple exited their aparment.
27 year old Brandon D. Homan was arrested and booked into county jail on assault.
The 19 month old is safe with no injuries.
