ISLAND COUNTY, Wash. – A Bellingham man died in a dirt bike accident in Island County Friday.
The Washington State Patrol says 29-year-old Joshua H. Heneger was riding on a dirt road near Clinton at about 7:30 p.m. when he lost control of the bike and struck a hard object.
Heneger was taken to Whidbey Health where he was declared dead.
He was not wearing a helmet and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
