BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man from Bellingham was killed when he was hit while walking on I-5 Tuesday night.
The State Patrol reports the 54-year-old man was in the left northbound lane near Iowa Street at about 10:45 PM when a driver from Lakewood hit him.
He was then hit by a car driven by a Bellingham woman.
Both drivers remained at the scene and neither was impaired.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
