BELLINGHAM, Wash – A Bellingham man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting boys for three decades.
Lee John Weeda, 44, asked for forgiveness before his sentence was handed down.
The Bellingham Herald reports he pleaded guilty last month to second degree child molestation, assault and dealing in child pornography.
Police found at least eight men who say Weeda raped, molested or touched them when they were children.
Police say Weeda’s offenses date back to the 1990s.
