BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man’s trial was moved to Skagit County amid concerns he couldn’t get a fair trial in Whatcom County.
Cleve Goheen-Rengo is charged with threatening a Whatcom County judge.
The Skagit Valley Herald reports Rengo will be in Skagit County Superior court starting Monday.
Whatcom County Superior Court Judge Raquel Montoya-Lewis ruled against Goheen-Rengo in a child custody case in February.
The charges were filed after Montoya-Lewis learned of a Facebook photo album he made with pictures of himself holding a handgun and titled “Return the Rengo Children NOW! Or Else.”
