BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Hundreds marched through Bellingham yesterday in protest.

The march was in solidarity with today’s “Get Off Our Necks Commitment March” on Washington organized by Al Sharpton.

The Bellingham Herald reports more than 250 people marched to the Whatcom County District Court and County Jail.

After the march, the crowd blocked the Grand Avenue and Lottie Street intersection near city hall while they listened to speakers, including community members and County Executive Satpal Sidhu who said systemic oppression and racism must end.
