BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The City of Bellingham is joining Ferndale in opening playgrounds with some restrictions.
Parks and Recreation Director Nicole Oliver says she hopes to have all playgrounds open by Friday.
Play equipment will be limited to five children at a time, all kids over two will have to wear masks and everyone should socially distance.
Parents are asked to wash childrens’ hands before and after using a playground and to keep their kids home if they’re sick.
Ferndale will also open its city playgrounds on Friday.
