BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham man was arrested after an alleged home invasion and burglary Friday.
Bellingham Police say a resident of a home at the 300 block of E North Street awoke to find 22-year-old Russell K. Saxon standing a few feet away from her.
He allegedly ran from the house taking the victim’s taser and vape pen.
Officers say they discovered items which had apparently been staged for theft in the garage and 100 feet away from the home.
A police canine search later located Saxon on Vining Street where he was arrested without incident after a positive ID and booked into the Whatcom County Jail on four charges relating to the incident.
