BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A suspect is in custody after the Sehome Village Haggen store was robbed Tuesday morning.
Bellingham Police Lieutenant Claudia Murphy reports 23-year-old Logan Earle was first contacted at the store by loss prevention on November 14th after he attempted to steal a six pack of hard seltzer and then threatened to hit them with a bottle of champagne.
He fled the scene before being apprehended.
Tuesday morning, officers were called to the Sehome Haggen for an aggressive shoplift suspect, identified as Earle, carrying a knife.
Earle reportedly struggled with loss prevention after stealing energy drinks and then fled on foot.
BPD K-9 Destro successfully located Earle on a trail near the 2200 block of Taylor Street a short time later.
