BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Don’t worry about booms on Bellingham’s waterfront.
The Bellingham Police Bomb Squad was training at the old Georgia Pacific site. The loud noises heard Wednesday and Thursday were not from dangerous bombs, but controlled explosions.
Thursday’s training was scheduled to run until 4:00 this afternoon.
