BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A man is in jail after police say he brandished a gun and pointed it at a woman in the Bakerview Fred Meyer parking lot.
Lieutenant Don Almer says police were called Saturday afternoon to reports a man was brandishing a gun at Costco.
Witnesses tell police Christian Rodriguez drove off to the Fred Meyer gas pumps across the street and nearly hit three vehicles in the Costco parking lot.
Almer says when a woman confronted Rodriguez, he grabbed a gun from the passenger seat, chambered a round and pointed it at the woman.
Rodriguez was arrested for 1st degree assault.
