BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A 27-year-old man is in the Whatcom County Jail after threatening a woman and her children with a knife in the home they share.
Bellingham Police Lt. Danette Beckley said officers were called to the home in the 2400 block of Queen Street in Bellingham at about 2:00 am Saturday morning following a 911 call for a domestic situation.
Enoch Yellow Hawk told police he was armed and dangerous, and advanced on officers outside the home with a knife.
Officers incapacitated Yellow Hawk after tasing him twice, arrested him, and charged him with attempted assault, displaying a dangerous weapon, and domestic violence harassment.
There were no injuries in the incident.
