BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A man tried to strangle and smother his girlfriend according to Bellingham Police.
Sean Wilkins wrapped his hands around his girlfriend’s neck and put a pillow over her face, the police said.
The violence happened Tuesday in the 2800 block of Meridian Street.
Wilkins was already facing domestic violence-related charges for an incident in April.
