BELLINGHAM, Wash – The Bellingham Police officer and his brother charged with assault for an incident on October 17th have pleaded not guilty.
The Bellingham Herald reports officer Sukdehv Dhaliwal and his brother Jagmeet Dhaliwal entered the pleas in a court appearance Friday.
The brothers allegedly punched another man in the face after becoming upset he was dating their sister.
Sukdehv Dhaliwal will remain on paid administrative leave while the investigation continues.
