BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police are looking for distracted drivers, speeders and people not wearing seat belts in several high-accident areas through July.
The department says on its Twitter page that they’re operating emphasis patrols on Meridian between Telegraph and Kellogg, Orleans between Barkley and Sunset and on North Forest Street.
They’re letting drivers know the locations because they want to bring awareness, educate drivers and remind them to be safe on the streets.
