BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham’s biggest-ever concert event went off without a hitch Saturday night.
Bellingham Police tweeted through the evening that traffic was moving well and the 13,000 concertgoers were orderly for the Death Cab for Cutie and Odesza show at Civic Stadium.
Noise complaints were few from the concert that did have a permit and was exempt from the city’s noise ordinance.
And the show employed some local workers.
Charles Christiansen, a local who was contracted by concert promoter AEG for the show, said that the night generally went really well, and described the egress after the concert as smooth.
He and his crew regularly work for the Bellingham Arts and Music Festival.
