BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham has gotten some new national recognition, this time for its support of remote work.
Livability.com is a research firm that tracks and ranks attributes of small and medium sized cities.
It just ranked Bellingham #3 in its new top 10 list of the most remote-ready cities in the US.
The measures researched include broadband access, number of local jobs that can be done from home, affordability, strength of the regional economy, and quality of life.
The study authors cited Bellingham’s natural beauty and year-round recreation activities as part of the reason for its high ranking.
