BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Although we have a glut of craft breweries, a nationwide ranking shows Bellingham has yet to crack the top ten.
C+R Research went through data for 500 U.S. cities and found Bellingham came in 17th with about 7 breweries per 50,000 people.
Portland, Maine took the top spot with an estimation of 18 breweries per 50,000 residents.
The most popular brewery in Bellingham based on Google searches is Wander Brewing.
Yakima is the only other Washington city in the top 25, coming in 23rd.
