BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Some snowfall on Wednesday and cold overnight temperatures mean black ice will likely be an issue for many commuters around Whatcom County Thursday morning.
I-5 as well as roads through town have a shimmery coating in areas while other spots may be just as slippery but have no signs of being treacherous.
Remember to give yourself extra time on your commute, leave enough space between your vehicle and others, and avoid making any sudden stops or turns.
