BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham School District has solidified plans for providing food to kids during school closures.
Superintendent Greg Baker says drive through meals will begin Monday, March 23.
They plan to provide lunch and breakfast Monday through Friday for as long as they can.
The district is now working to build effective systems for learning during the closure.
The district is practicing physical distancing while offering this service. To limit the number of people getting food at any given time, the district asks that families come to the time slot designated by the first letter of their last name.
