One computer for every student.

That’s the goal of the Bellingham School District’s 1:1 program.

With the passage of the 2017 Technology Levy, Squalicum and Options High Schools, and Kulshan Middle School will receive their computers in August.

The District’s Kurt Gazow says staff will get extensive training before the computers are given to kids.

“…to make sure they will use their resources in a very meaningful way”

The other middle and high schools and Cozier and Roosevelt Elementary schools get their computers during the next school year.

The plan is to have computers in the hands of all students in grades 3 – 12 by the 2020-21 school year.
