BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham Schools students will see a couple of new faces in leadership in the fall.
Bellingham High School principal Linda Wise Miller is retiring.
In her place, Squalicum Assistant Principal Marty Atkins has accepted the top job at BHS.
Parents will remember him as a math teacher and golf coach at BHS and Sehome from 1993-2010.
And Columbia Elementary Principal Aaron Darragh will be start as Principal at Roosevelt Elementary.
Darragh has 20 years experience in public education, including in mental health services and as a fourth/fifth grade teacher at Custer Elementary, among other roles.
