BELLINGHAM, Wash. — School may be out for the summer, but Bellingham schools are making sure kids don’t go hungry over the break.

Bellingham Public Schools is offering a summer food program for kids.

The district says meals will be available at no charge to those 18 and under.

Seven locations are participating this year, including Shuksan Middle School and the Bellingham Sportsplex.

Some locations will stick to serving free lunch while others will add options for breakfast.

The dates, times and locations for summer 2019 are:

Roosevelt Elementary School, 2900 Yew Street
Monday to Friday, June 24 to Aug. 23 (closed July 4)
Free breakfast will be served from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m.
Free lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Shuksan Middle School, 2717 Alderwood Avenue
Monday to Thursday, June 24 to July 25 (closed July 4)
Free breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
Free lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 pm.

Monday to Thursday, Aug. 5 to Aug 22
Free breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
Free lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Regency Park Apartment Complex, 2050 Fraser St.
Monday to Friday, June 24 to Aug. 23 (closed July 4)
Free lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Sterling Meadows Apartment Complex, 512 Sterling Drive
Monday to Friday, June 24  to Aug. 23 (closed July 4)
Free lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Bellingham Sportsplex, 1225 Civic Field Way
Monday to Friday, June 24 – Aug. 23 (closed July 4)
Free lunch will be served from noon to 12:30 p.m.
