BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham schools are switching up the way they provide meals to students during school closures.

The Bellingham School District will be providing multi-day meal boxes at neighborhood sites and apartment complexes.

For now, they are continuing to offer daily meal pick-ups at school sites each day, but starting April 6, they will switch to multi-day meal boxes at all sites.

Those will be offered between 11 AM and 12:30 PM on Mondays only.

The district believes the shift will be more efficient for families and staff and will help limit interactions.
