BELLINGHAM, Wash. — It’s looking like a short summer break for Bellingham students.
The school district announced that the last day of school this year is an early dismissal day on June 20 and the first day of school for the 2019-2020 school year is just nine weeks later.
Several snow day closures caused the district to extend the school year by a week, bumping graduation ceremonies back.
They’re projecting next year’s last day of school to fall on June 11.
