Bellingham Schools Superintendent says COVID-19 protocols likely into the next school year

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham Schools Superintendent is saying it is likely students will need to keep up with some COVID-19 protocols into the ’21- ’22 school year.

Dr. Gregg Baker said he would expect the COVID-19 protocols to extend into the 2021-22 school year.

He told KGMI Friday the district will continue to take its cues from federal and state agencies.

Dr. Baker says more than 80% of families eligible for in-person instruction have so far chosen that option.
