BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Schools Superintendent Dr. Greg Baker offers condolences to the victims of the school shooting in Florida and wants the community know what his district is doing to prepare for and hopefully avoid such an event.
In a statement, Baker explains the $155,000 bond measure voters passed Tuesday includes important safety and security improvements for schools and classrooms.
Some of these include radio communication tools, door locking systems and security cameras among other safety measures.
