BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham singer-songwriter is part of the new season on The Voice.
Van Andrew is the stage name for local resident Andrew Berkmeyer.
He auditioned for season 19, which started Monday and hints on his Facebook page of a possible chair turn in the next few weeks.
Berkmeyer describes his music as “a marriage of simple guitar riffs, indie rock, and word pictures sung from the heart.” and had his songs streamed 266,000 times on Spotify in 2019.
The Voice airs on NBC, and streams on Peacock and Fubo TV.
