BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Bellingham students now have the option to spend more time in the classroom.

Bellingham Public Schools middle school students have the option to attend in-person classes four day a week starting April 26th.

High schools are adding hybrid classes on Wednesdays that can be attended either in person or via Zoom and also the option to attend in-person classes five days a week.

Distancing and other safety protocols will remain in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and students will still have the option of 100% remote or hybrid learning.

The district has sent surveys to families to gauge their preferences and prepare for more students.
