BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A portion of Holly Street in downtown Bellingham is now closed, creating a summer plaza to support local businesses and social distancing.

Holly Street is closed between Comercial Street and Bay Street and motorists are asked to detour around the area using West Chestnut Street .

Starting Thursday, the City will close the west driving lane and parking area on 10th Street between Mill Street and Harris Avenue in Fairhaven.

And starting next week, crews will close off several parking spots on Railroad Avenue near the old feed stores and Mallard Ice Cream to expand dining area for restaurants.
