BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham High School Junior has been honored for excellence in the swimming pool and the classroom.
The Bellingham Bay Swim Team reports that member Gavin Jones has received a 2019 Scholastic All-American Award from USA Swimming.
He qualified for the honor by achieving a junior national swim qualifying time and by maintaining a 3.5 or better grade point average.
