BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Bellingham Walmart location is getting remodeled.
The Guide Meridian store is one of seven Washington Walmarts getting revamped in what the Bellingham Chamber of Commerce reports is a multi-million dollar store improvement project.
Walmart expects to spend an estimated $36 million on remodeling in their Washington stores, while also launching and expanding several customer-focused innovations.
Examples include a machine that automatically scans and sorts items that come off delivery trucks and an autonomous in-store floor scrubber.
They’ll also be expanding grocery pickup and delivery services statewide.
