BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Bellingham Police Department welcomed five newly-minted officers this week.
Eric Weber comes from a military family and worked as a security guard for six years prior to joining BPD.
Kevin McLaughlin grew up in Skagit Valley and served in the Washington State Patrol and a corrections officer with the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office.
Sean Rita grew up in Burien graduated from WWU with a political science degree in 2018.
Elisabeth Marra is looking forward to the challenges and learning ahead, as well as the opportunity to serve the community.
Brittany Bille graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in criminal justice and worked as a volunteer probation officer.
The new officers were sworn in by Municipal Court Judge Lev and will be off to the police academy and field training soon.
