GLACIER, WA. – (KGMI.com) A Bellingham woman is dead after her car tumbled hundreds of feet off the Mount Baker Highway.

Washington State Patrol says the accident occurred about two miles from the Mt. Baker Ski Area at milepost 50 around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7th.

The car was heading west when it went off the roadway and rolled over 150 feet into a ravine.

WSP says that the driver, 67-year-old Mary Coghlan, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other passengers in the car and no other cars were involved in the accident.
