BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham resident who was hit by a truck while she was walking on Slater Road Thanksgiving weekend has now died.
27- year old Katrina Sampson was struck while walking near Lake Terrell Road on November 29th.
The State Patrol says she died while at Harborview in Seattle.
The truck was driven by 44 year Joel Hansen of Ferndale, who was not injured.
Troopers are investigating the cause and say it is unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved.
