BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham woman involved in a crash in British Columbia last week is dead.
Mariam Ghaly passed away on Friday.
CTV reported that Ghaly was driving on October 1 with her husband and their two teen children when she swerved to avoid a motorcycle.
The SUV flipped and landed in a water-filled ditch.
The other members of the family were able to escape, but the 42-year-old woman was trapped behind the wheel. She died after six days in the hospital.
