BELLINGHAM, Wash – An armed robbery to fund at meal at McDonalds has resulted in jail time for three Bellingham teens.
The Bellingham Herald reports Jesus Ruiz, age 17, Israel Acevedo, Age 19, and Manuel Morado, 17, each received 18 months in prison after being convicted in adult court for robbing a stranger at gunpoint on Garden Street in Bellingham February 7th.
Immediately after the robbery, the robbers used the victim’s credit card at 7-11 and McDonalds.
