BELLINGHAM, Wash. — You may see smoke accompanied by some unusual activity at the Bellingham airport next week.
Airport firefighters will work with the Bellingham Fire Department personnel to conduct training exercises Monday, April 8 through Friday, April 12.
The exercises will fulfill the airport’s annual FAA certification requirements while strengthening the mutual aid partnership between the agencies.
All exercises will take place on airport property primarily during daytime hours and commercial flights will not be affected.
